Sound Information
Average sound level of 79 decibels (Loud Noise Level) based on measurements taken by users of the SoundPrint
app
. A Loud Noise Level is likely safe for hearing, difficult for conversation.
At 9:30 pm on an August Tuesday, the background noise level is reasonable for conversation: fewer than 1/4 of the tables are occupied in this cozy space, so not too much sound from conversations from other diners; and gentle jazz—but real jazz—is playing on the sound system.

Ate there at 6:30 on a Saturday night hoping it would be quieter earlier in evening. It was manageable for first 30 minutes but soon was crushingly loud. Open kitchen and bare brick walls don’t help. Sound measurements were 80+ early on and 90+ later.
SoundPrint measures the approximate decibel level and is not a replacement for a professional sound level meter. The dBA figures in the app and on this site are averages of every SoundCheck submitted for that place — a reasonable guide to what it's usually like, not a guarantee of what it will be on any given night.
SoundPrint's goal is to work with louder venues, not against them.
