The music alone would make this place completely impractical for conversation, it's difficult to even order because of the loud music. Many times I've had my order messed up because they can't hear over the music at the register, sometimes leading to being over-charged on top of not getting what I was trying to order. Add in the very loud and poorly designed architecture and furniture, and peoe having to yell to try and have a conversation and this is one of the loudest places to eat in all of Detroit. Definitely don't come if you are hoping to do some work, make a phone call, etc. Pastries are unmatched though.
