Sound Information
Average sound level of 64 decibels (Quiet Noise Level) based on measurements taken by users of the SoundPrint
app
. A Quiet Noise Level is safe for hearing, great for conversation.
Here on a Tuesday night around 6.30. I'm seated at the table in the corner nearest the kitchen so noise level may be slightly higher than elsewhere in here. Not by much, though. Ceiling, floor, walls and furniture are all hard surfaces and it's noisy even though there are only 20 or so people seated in a capacity of around 50-60 seats. Background funk music is not loud per se but it is up high enough to be persistent.
SoundPrint measures the approximate decibel level and is not a replacement for a professional sound level meter. The dBA figures in the app and on this site are averages of every SoundCheck submitted for that place — a reasonable guide to what it's usually like, not a guarantee of what it will be on any given night.
SoundPrint's goal is to work with louder venues, not against them.
