The upstairs side room is open today and it is waaaay quieter than the main room. The main room often gets too loud for me.

I hate how loud The Local Taphouse is. Some of the best beers in Melbourne ruined by constant, sometimes painful levels of noise.
It's a quiet afternoon at The Local. There's a warmth to this place with a cosey fire and Sunday roast. Background music is not overpowering but is noticeable.
