Sound Information
Average sound level of 53 decibels (Quiet Noise Level) based on measurements taken by users of the SoundPrint
app
. A Quiet Noise Level is safe for hearing, great for conversation.
Here for the second Tuesday night running, tonight at about 5.30pm. I'm the sole customer. There is Thai pop music on in the background, and it's about 20% louder than it needs to be. Sometimes the phone goes for takeaway orders, and it's these two things which take the conversation rating from excellent down to adequate. If the restaurant was full, the hard surfaces would make it more difficult.

In here on a Saturday night around 8.45pm. Peak noise of 81 decibels came when a diner accidentally broke a glass. One large table of 12 people making majority of conversation. Once again, hard surfaces to blame as this place is usually much quieter midweek.
SoundPrint measures the approximate decibel level and is not a replacement for a professional sound level meter. The dBA figures in the app and on this site are averages of every SoundCheck submitted for that place — a reasonable guide to what it's usually like, not a guarantee of what it will be on any given night.
SoundPrint's goal is to work with louder venues, not against them.
