Sound Information
Average sound level of 65 decibels (Quiet Noise Level) based on measurements taken by users of the SoundPrint
app
. A Quiet Noise Level is safe for hearing, great for conversation.
Much quieter than expected (but it’s a mid-week morning, so there are far fewer people than on a weekend). The frequency range is pretty broad, including intermittent high pitched beeps / prolonged tones, transportation carts, rumbling luggage wheels, overlapping soft conversations, etc. The overhead announcements seem softer than my last flight years ago.
Bathroom with paper towels (vs air dryer).
SoundPrint measures the approximate decibel level and is not a replacement for a professional sound level meter. The dBA figures in the app and on this site are averages of every SoundCheck submitted for that place — a reasonable guide to what it's usually like, not a guarantee of what it will be on any given night.
SoundPrint's goal is to work with louder venues, not against them.
