Teachers won't allow exisiting the gym in which the concert is playing. Waiting in the hall until the end of the concert is thus not possible... No educational material is being presented, and instead of classes, in my case physics class, we are forced to listen to ear-peircing, deafening music for an hour straight.

I'm as far as possible from an obligatory concert at school, in which we are exposed to very high Decibel levels for an hour-or-so straight.
Most events having a microphone, such as debates, concerts, et cetera, have no concern for volume. If you have any hearing sensitivity do not attend such events, as sometimes they do not let you leave mid-way. The may even prevent exit in the presence of medical circumstances, such as passing out during a concert due to the volume (which did, in fact, happen to a student during a past concert).
