Sound Information
Average sound level of 98 decibels (Very Loud Noise Level) based on measurements taken by users of the SoundPrint
app
. A Very Loud Noise Level is not safe for hearing, exposure can cause hearing loss.
Prior reading was the trailer. This one is during the actual movie, AFTER a loud scene (not even during the peak of it). Even with noise cancelling headphones, I had to walk out after 1:5 hrs & take a break.
Sound balance was very poor - I had to turn the white noise in my speakers down for dialogue in murmurs, then up immediately after for explosions, deep rumbles, machinery sounds, etc. (Part is the movie itself Dune 2. But some is the theater speaker locations, balance, etc.)
SoundPrint measures the approximate decibel level and is not a replacement for a professional sound level meter. The dBA figures in the app and on this site are averages of every SoundCheck submitted for that place — a reasonable guide to what it's usually like, not a guarantee of what it will be on any given night.
SoundPrint's goal is to work with louder venues, not against them.
