Now named “Ascension Coffee Bar.”
Bumping bass music, open coffee prep bar, only one half-partitions / booth wall to break up the sound. Most of the staff spoke with soft voices, even right next to the noisy drink prep area and even when calling out names for people’s to-go orders.
Unrelated, but the food & drinks were also underwhelming. My specialty drink arrived without the garnish I paid for, as they’d run out. Bacon was hard like beef jerky. Part of our order was missing, and when I tried to flag down a waitress she told me she didn’t speak English. When I went to the counter to correct each issue, staff was polite and did their best to take care of it.
